Course Description:

'' These programs provide students with a wide-ranging and diverse base of specialist management subjects. They are tailored for graduates or managers of health services wishing to develop their skills and understanding of contemporary health service management issues. The programs are offered by a consortium of Griffith University’s Graduate School of Management and the School of Public Health. The Australian College of Health Service Executives is considering the programs for accreditation.

Participants will:

have an opportunity to learn from respected industry practitioners and academics
be able to study either at a local campus or externally
work on a project for Honours that is directly relevant to their organisation’s strategic direction, and
gain credit for previous studies.

Attendance
The Master of Health Services Management is offered on a full time and part-time on campus at South Bank campus.
Your will be classed as a part-time student if you are enrolled in less than 30 credit points per semester. As a part-time student, you will generally attend 6 hours of scheduled classes per week.

As a full-time student, you will generally attend 12 hours of scheduled classes per week throughout the semester.
Classes may be scheduled during the day and evening throughout the week. Sufficient classes will be scheduled from 5 p.m. to accommodate part-time students unavailable to attend classes during the day.

International students residing outside Australia may enrol in this program. International students must be enrolled in at least 30cp per semester.

The Master of Health Services Management is also offered in internet mode, fully on-line. You can access course materials, participate in learning activities, lodge assessment items and access support services via Learning@Griffith. There is no requirement for on-campus attendance and access to a reliable computer with internet connection is essential. Internet-fully on-line, if it suits you, some courses may be taken at the South Bank campus.
