Course Description:
'' Intensive Courses Intensive courses begin in January and run twice weekly for 10 weeks, providing 60 hours of instruction. The courses are designed for beginners who wish to learn a language in a short period of time for business, personal interest or travel. Students should be prepared to commit to an intensive study program during these ten weeks, with equivalent home and classroom hours.
The teaching methodology enables students to retain grammar and vocabulary and develop communication skills at a greater rate than in equivalent courses of longer duration. Upon completion, students become eligible to enrol directly into the second level of the year-long language program that begins in March.
Students may elect to take an optional Assessment of Competency and will be awarded a Certificate of Competency upon achieving the required standard.
Full Year Courses Professional and Continuing Educations full year language program offers a wide range of language in classes from beginner to advanced levels. Classes begin in March and run weekly for 30 weeks in 2 hour sessions.
