'' This program is designed for those seeking a Masters degree in business studies with a focus in the law. The Master of Business Law will provide business professionals with a competitive, high quality, and flexible coursework Masters that expands their current horizon. Applicants must hold an undergraduate degree. Entry is competitive and selection will be on the basis of academic merit. Normally a successful applicant would have achieved a credit average or better in their undergraduate degree.
Program Structure
Three foundation Law courses which provide the background for your study:
Principles of Australian Law
Negligence and Intentional Wrongs
Contractual Relations
The remainder of the program consists of eight courses chosen from the list of Law courses. It is possible to include courses from other disciplines within the University, subject to approval by the Program Coordinator. Seminar-style teaching is employed, with one course usually involving 36 hours of classes over a twelve-week semester. Some courses are taught during the evening or on weekends, while other courses may be taught intensively over two or more weeks.
