Course Description:

'' To provide a program of advanced study for the efficient management of the assets including facilities such as engineering structures, complex buildings and other non-current assets.

Entry requirements

Applicants would normally hold a three year degree or recognised equivalent academic qualifications and professional experience.

In addition, International students who speak English as a foreign language must have obtained one of the following standards within the last two years prior to admission:

International English Language Testing System (IELTS): test - band 6; or TOEFL 550;
or previous successful secondary or tertiary study where English was the language of instruction.

Content/structure
The program requires the completion of courses totalling 36 units. The formal study component must consist of seven (7) core courses, totalling 31.5 units, plus one (1) 4.5 unit elective selected from elective courses listed below or from relevant courses in management, property, architecture, civil engineering, geoinformatics, transport and planning.

Professional recognition
The Facilities and Asset Management programs are recognised by the Facilities Management Association of Australia (FMA). The FMA is one of three founding associations of the Global FM organisation (see: http://www.globalfm.org/) along with the British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) and the International Facilities Management Association (IFMA).
