'' The MS (Banking) Program offered by the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University, Tripura is designed for the benefit of students seeking careers in the banking industry.

Focus Areas

The program focuses on three areas:

Domain Knowledge and Skills in Banking: The program focuses on various dimensions of banking which validates diverse business analysis competencies concomitant with an ability to integrate knowledge from multiple banking disciplines and to apply this knowledge to provide strategic banking insight.



Managerial Excellence: The program explores the best managerial practices, in terms of strategic and operational excellence for the benefit of upcoming professionals. They will also be given expert level knowledge in asset liability management, treasury management, NPA management, forex management and risk management.

Information Technology and E-Banking: Provides the necessary knowledge and skills required for the tripartite functions of designing, managing and evaluating information systems, provide business solutions by applying IT tools and managing banking on the internet.

Integration: The uniqueness of the program lies in its effective integration of all the three focus areas which are going to set new benchmarks in the banking world.

The MS (Banking) Program will be suitable for:

Finance, accounting and management professionals like CAIIBs, CTMs, CAs, CWAs, CSs and MBAs who are seeking careers in bank management;

Professionals already employed in the banking industry and who want to upgrade their skills and knowledge in the areas of bank management & IT;

Students pursuing full-time postgraduate programs in commerce, economics, mathematics, statistics and management; and interested in pursuing banking careers.

Eligibility

Graduates (any discipline). A Bachelor-level degree / diploma (on 10+2+3 basis) is accepted.

Validity of Enrollment

The students are required to complete MS (Banking) Program within a period of seven years from the date of enrollment. However, serious students who study regularly and take the examinations regularly can complete the program in two years on an accelerated track. Students who are unable to complete the program within the validity period of seven years, but still keen on continuing the program, are required to register de novo by paying the requisite fee.
