'' The Series 7 Examination is the qualification for General Securities Registered Representatives. It is administered by the National Association of Securities Dealers Regulation (NASDR). Upon completion an individual will be qualified for the solicitation, purchase, and/or sale of all securities products, including corporate securities, municipal securities, municipal fund securities, options, direct participation programs, investment company products, and variable contracts.
Series 17 is a limited version of Series 7. Series 17 does not allow individuals to engage in the selling of municipal securities.
You must be sponsored by an NASD/NYSE member firm to sit the Series 7 / 17 examinations.
The ACOR comprises two modules. You must achieve a pass in both the IAQâ„?Operational Risk Module and the Advanced Operational Risk Module to be awarded the Advanced Certificate in Operational Risk.
