'' A revised Charities Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP 2005) applies to accounting periods beginning on or after 1 April 2005. SORP 2005 sets out how a charity should report annually on resources entrusted to it and the activities it undertakes. It further hones charity reporting within existing principles.
This course provides an introduction to charity accounting and the principles of SORP 2005. It will prove useful to those new to the charities sector or existing employees looking to refresh or consolidate their knowledge. Auditors of charities would also benefit from attending.
