'' This program provides an in-depth analysis of the accounting and disclosure requirements of IFRS, US GAAP and Indian GAAP. The program presents the information needed to navigate complex issues surrounding the recognition and measurement of financial elements under both IFRS and US GAAP, an area closely scrutinized by regulators such as the SEC in the US and the Financial Reporting Review Panel in the UK.

The program always keeps the Indian financial reporting requirements (Indian GAAP) in perspective and explains the differences in Indian GAAP and US GAAP/IFRS. This helps the participants to appreciate the major areas of difference and thus provides necessary information and know-how to restate Indian Financial Statements as per US GAAP or IFRS.

At the end of this program, students will be able to perform their finance functions consistent with the requirements of international reporting standards. They will also be able to take on assignments involving financial reporting in Banks.
