'' This course is ideal for those people with an interest in digital imaging who wish to find employment in this field. It is essential that you have at least a basic ability on either PCs or Apple Macintoshes.

Course Details
The course consists of 7 Units:
- Maintenance of digital images
- Prepare materials for delivery to clients
- Health, safety and security
- Specified image editing
- Specified image scanning
- Maintenance of imaging operations
- Effective communications at work

Time
9am - 4pm, 9am - 5pm, 9am - 12 noon for 16 hours

Duration
12 weeks

Assessment
You will produce a written and a practical portfolio. Assessment takes place during the course of briefs set by real clients.

Qualification
City & Guilds 7490-04 Digital Imaging (NVQ Level 2)

Progression
You can either progress to the NVQ Level 3 in either Digital Imaging or Photography, or onto ND courses.
