Course Description:

'' This is a full time programme lasting 2 years that covers 18 Units. It is a gateway to university or entry level employment within the television/media industry. This course offers you a grounding into 18 very different disciplines (70% Practical, 30% Theory). In the 1st year, as well as covering subjects such as film studies and interview and presentation techniques, you will take part in an advertising campaign, make your own music video and create a single camera drama. As part of the 2nd year, you will make a documentary and a corporate video as well as designing graphics, web pages and scriptwriting for a number of different types of programme. Due to the nature of the course, shooting on location may be required occasionally in the evenings and weekends. You will work with industry professionals throughout the year. We also endeavour to take students on a Media Studies trip to New York each year.
