Course Description:
'' The course provides you with an exciting balance of creative skills and technical knowledge. It includes: Your introduction to camera controls, B & W processing, studio lighting and location work. You will explore many directions in contemporary photography. Emphasis is placed on design and the development of your creative images and ideas. You will have the opportunity to visits exhibition, location and undertake a variety of photographic work in the landscape both rural and urban. You will have access to a new e mac suite, base room, wet dark room and fully equipped studio. You will explore both digital and wet technologies to produce photography based on your personal idea and enthusiasms.

Assessment is by continuous assessment of your course work and an extended practical project in the second year.

BTEC National Diploma in Photography
Progression
