Training Course:TCP/IP TroubleshootingSchool/Trainer:Information Management Systems Inc. Atlanta, GA, United States
Course Format: Classroom | E-learning | Virtual Class | Online | On-site | Blended | Self-paced
Course Description:
'' Network Administrators. Gain an in-depth understanding of the TCP/IP family of protocols - IP, UDP, TCP, ARP, DHCP, and ICMP are all covered in detail plus several application layer protocols such as Telnet, HTTP, DNS, SMTP and POP3, and FTP are explored at a high level. Learn expert-tested troubleshooting tools, techniques and procedures for TCP/IP networks and practice them using the Sniffer protocol analyzer.
What You Will Learn
To work through IP addressing problems To create a simple network map given frames from the Sniffer To identify normal, slow and problematic TCP conversations The use of ICMP messages to isolate and describe network problems Describe at a high level what the common application layer protocols look like on the network Describe troubleshooting methodologies given different network problem-scenarios TCP/IP Troubleshooting Using the Network Associates Sniffer
Audience Network Managers and Network Installation and Maintenance personnel. Network administrators who need an understanding of the TCP/IP Family of protocols and who can benefit from troubleshooting techniques using the Sniffer for problem resolution
