'' This course provides a comprehensive introduction to Unix System Services from a user’s perspective. Topics include the history of Unix, Unix internal concepts, navigating through the Hierarchical File System and basic Unix commands. Students learn how to work in the Unix System Services environment using the OMVS shell, ISPF shell or through a remote logon during hands-on labs. The course is appropriate for developers, administrators, and systems programmers who are new or who have limited experience with USS.
