'' e-Master in French is a six semester programme The broad areas covered in this programme are Use of Language and Linguistics, Literature, Culture and Civilisation, Methodology and Translation. The total number of credits to be earned at the end of the Programme is 120. There will be core as well as optional modules. The e-Master programme is offered on a modular basis. A course may comprise a single module or a number of modules and may belong to different disciplinary areas. Each course / module is assigned a certain number of credit points. A credit is a unit of academic work in a semester, calculated in terms of hours of instruction / self study, and, in certain cases level of complexity. To get an e-Master degree, a student has to accumulate 120 such credits of work in six semesters. Students get their final grade according to their overall performance on the various courses /modules, which are assessed continuously. ...''
