'' The Microsoft Certified Professional Developer: Enterprise Applications Developer (MCPD: Enterprise Applications Developer) certification demonstrates that you have the comprehensive skills that are required to build n-tier solutions that target both Web and rich-client user experiences.

If you are a Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) on Microsoft .NET, you can upgrade to the MCPD: Enterprise Applications Developer certification by taking two upgrade exams. By passing these upgrade exams you will also automatically obtain all three of the MCTS prerequisites. If you are a Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD) there is no direct upgrade path to the MCPD: Enterprise Applications Developer certification. But you can apply the MCAD upgrade exams to MCPD: Windows Developer and MCPD: Web Developer to your exam path.

If you have already passed Exam 70�51: UPGRADE: MCAD Skills to MCPD: Web Developer by Using the Microsoft .NET Framework, you may obtain the MCPD: Enterprise Applications Developer certification by passing the following additional exams:

70�26: TS: Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 - Windows-Based Client Development
70�29: TS: Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 - Distributed Application Development
70�49: PRO: Designing and Developing Enterprise Applications by Using the Microsoft .NET Framework
If you have already passed Exam 70�52: UPGRADE: MCAD Skills to MCPD: Windows Developer by Using the Microsoft .NET Framework, you may obtain the MCPD: Enterprise Applications Developer certification by passing the following additional exams:

70�28: TS: Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 �Web-Based Client Development
70�29: TS: Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 - Distributed Application Development
70�49: PRO: Designing and Developing Enterprise Applications by Using the Microsoft .NET Framework
If you have already passed both Exam 70�51: UPGRADE: MCAD Skills to MCPD: Web Developer by Using the Microsoft .NET Framework and Exam 70�52: UPGRADE: MCAD Skills to MCPD: Windows Developer by Using the Microsoft .NET Framework, you may obtain the MCPD: Enterprise Applications Developer certification by passing the following additional exams:
