'' Introduction to the Spanish language presented in the context of food traditions and dining. Includes food in the culture of Spanish speaking countries, language of groceries and ingredients, and conversation for dining

Performance Objectives:

Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to do the following:

Express in Spanish examples of foods of relevant countries and their ingredients.
Participate in role playing regarding use of the Spanish language in grocery shopping, ingredients, and discussing preparation.
Participate in a mock dining experience using appropriate words and phrases with both restaurant personnel and social companions.
