'' Introduction to French, Italian, and Spanish language presented in the context of travel through these three countries. Includes travel in Spain, Italy, and France, lodging, money, and transportation terminology, culinary traditions, restaurants and markets, and travel destinations.
Information: Prior language knowledge is not required.

Performance Objectives:
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to do the following:
Identify major cities and regions of Spain, Italy, and France. Participate in role playing dealing with traveling, hotels, car rentals, seasons and pricing, and the monetary system in each country. Describe culinary traditions of Italy, Spain, and France. Participate in a mock dining experience using appropriate terms with both restaurant personnel and social companions. Participate in a 17 day trip to Italy, France, and Spain. Course Outline:
