'' Cinema 4D training with Cinema 4D expert Rob Garrott. Crafting 3D worlds and the objects that cavort within them is the ultimate creative high, and 3D is a powerful communication tool in any line of work or creative pursuit! This entry level class in 3D Modeling and Animation is the ideal starting place for those looking at possible careers in animation and other 3D fields, while offering a comprehensive skill set for anyone wishing to utilize 3d graphics or movies in any field.


Students will learn “hands-on�how to model almost any 3D form using the powerful modeling toolset in the latest version of affordable Cinema 4D. They will then explore the design of realistic or invented surface materials, and learn to light scenes for drama and depth. Control of virtual cameras will enhance the student’s skill for 3D storytelling and communicative impact. The study of motion over time, animation, will push beyond “just making objects move�to focus on good timing and the use of classic animation principles for dynamic and believable motion.

Each student will complete a personal animation project by the end of the week long course. While mastering 3D requires effort and memorization, the sheer intuitive power of Cinema 4D quickly becomes a fascination you can’t put down.
