'' The Oracle9i Database Fundamentals I course will enable you to describe the basic Oracle9i architecture and how objects are stored in the database. This course will also enable you to manage several aspects such as an Oracle instance, datafiles, tables, and users. Your can maintain the online redo log and the control files. You will also be able to describe globalization support.
Objectives: In this course, you will be introduced to the responsibilities of an Oracle® database administrator (DBA). You will explore the underlying architecture of the Oracle database server and the essential tasks required to manage database installations such as how to start up and shut down an Oracle instance.
