'' The Red Hat Certified Technician (RHCT) is an intermediate level certification for Red Hat Linux system administrators. The Red Hat Certified Technician exam is appropriate for Linux technicians capable of setting up new Linux systems and attaching them to production networks. RHCT testing does not include the more advanced enterprise networking and security knowledge required for RHCE certification. HOTTs instructor led training with an emphasis on facilitated hands on labs will prepare you for the RHCT certification, which requires passing a half-day performance-based exam.
The RHCT consists of two parts: A 1-hour diagnostics and troubleshooting lab; and a 2-hour lab on system installation, configuration and attachment to network.
