About IELTS
IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System. This is the exam you need if you wish to study at a British or Australian University, or if you want to improve your academic English skills.
We have been running IELTS Courses for many years now, and our ex-students have successfully joined degree courses in many subjects in British universities.
Our IELTS Course is very intensive and will prepare you fully for every part of the test. You will focus entirely on IELTS during your classes. There are 15 hours of classes each week, plus a considerable amount of homework. You will look a variety of topics such as political, environmental and social issues. IELTS tests your ability to formulate, express and understand opinions and ideas about these issues, as well as your language ability.
The exam consists of four tests:
Listening (30 mins)
Academic Reading (60 mins)
Academic Writing (60 mins)
Speaking (11-14 mins)
The Band Score ranges from 1 to 9. There is no pass or fail. The normal university requirement is 6.5 (Advanced level), but you may require more for certain postgraduate degrees and less for university Foundation Courses.
