'' Developing Intercultural Competence in a European Context follows the success of Effective Communication in a European Context.

This course consists of 4 weeks pre-course eLearning, one week of training in Scarborough and a post-course eLearning phase. The course aims to increase intercultural awareness and prepare participants for working with partners and students from other cultural backgrounds. Training sessions can include:

Language and culture
Cultural profiling
Cultural dimensions
Managing cultural clashes
Critical incidents in the intercultural classroom
Best practice for intercultural meetings
The course also allows participants to practise English while networking with other teachers, teacher trainers and educational managers who may be working on EU projects.
