It involves careful planning and the creation of a dynamic interaction between the reader and the writer. The skills of the writer to establish a positive relationship, and the ability to obtain the desired responses from readers, are the elements for the success of "Power Writing".

This two-day seminar has been developed for managers and business executives who are required to write clearly, effectively and strategically. It will develop our ability in "Audience Analysis", "Sensitivities to Intercultural Communication" as well as skills in the "Effective Use of Language and Stylistic Devices". All in all, it gives an in-depth understanding of the process of "Power Writing" and highlights writing strategies for creating the desired responses and impression on our targeted readers.

Dr Carmel Heah holds a PhD in applied linguistics. She has over 15 years’ experience in developing communication training programmes for various professions. She is the author of several English language textbooks and the widely used grammar book entitled "Common Errors in English".
