Course Description:
'' Part 1: During the first day, learn to use Rational ClearCase in a Unified Change Management (UCM) implementation. Learn to manage software development projects from a UCM perspective. Project managers learn to create and configure new projects and set development and release policies that are automatically enforced by ClearCase. Integrators learn to use ClearCase UCM to integrate, build, and configure the developed products for release.
Part 2: On the second day and third day, dive deeper into implementing ClearCase UCM effectively in a development environment (Windows). Get an introduction to the discipline of Software Configuration Management (SCM) using a UCM approach and learn the attributes of effective SCM.
Part 3: In the last two days, build on the knowledge gained in the previous days and learn techniques to ease deployment and maintenance of a ClearCase implementation from initial project planning through configuration, installation, and ongoing administration.
