'' Through lectures and machine lab exercises, learn how to recognize when an IBM DB2 stored procedure is the correct solution for an application, how to set up the environment to support stored procedures, how to use the Development Center, how to CALL a stored procedure, how to create a stored procedure using Data Definition Language (DDL), and how to troubleshoot a stored procedure.
Learn about coding stored procedures in DB2 SQL Procedure Language (SQL PL) and Java. The exercises run on a Windows workstation, but are applicable to coding of SQL PL or Java stored procedures using the Development Center on all IBM DB2 platforms.

The course materials cover DB2 UDB for Linux, UNIX, and Windows Version 8 and DB2 UDB for z/OS and OS/390 Version 7.
