'' In this fast-paced, two-day seminar you will get a guided tour of the Oracle® applications Families: Oracle Financials and Oracle Public Sector Financials, Oracle Manufacturing, Oracle Distribution, Oracle Human Resource Management Systems, and Oracle Projects. You will discover how these products interface and examine their individual and shared control points. You will learn how to identify the high-risk areas in these systems, as well as, in any application developed with Oracle’s Application Object Library. You will gain an understanding of Applications’ terminology and facilities, identify the components of application sign-on security, interpret user responsibilities, and investigate customized menus. You will find out how to assess the access controls provided by report security groups, data groups, and flexfields. You will explore audit trail features and learn how to assess their use. You will benefit from examples of General Ledger, Oracle Receivables, Oracle Payables and Order-Entry applications. You will leave this high-impact session with an audit and security checklist you can put to use immediately
