Installing and upgrading to Windows XP, installation options, managing device drivers, managing regional settings, network access, applying service packs, boot and installation recovery, Microsoft management console, control panel tools, configuring XP, managing user profiles, desktop settings, local user accounts, profiles and policies, group management, security auditing, installing and distributing applications, file systems and management, partitions and logical drives, file and folder management, NTFS permissions, file encryption, data compression, printer configuration, network and shared printers. Module 70-290: Managing and maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 environment. Installing Windows Server 2003, active directories and domain controllers, configuring hardware, active directory user accounts, active directory group accounts, domputer accounts, advanced management, configuring disk storage, using the disk management utility, recovering from disk failure, setting disk quotas, managing data encryption with EFS, troubleshooting disk devices, managing local access, managing network access, managing web services, IIS services, IIS security manage DNS, managing print servers, remote desktop for administration, troubleshooting.
