Course Description:
'' All sessions are held in hairdressing salon. In addition to the course fees, you will need to purchase a hairdressing kit (£80 approx). All hairdressing products and electrical equipment are provided but you will need to supply your own writing materials. In TECHNIQUES I: INTRODUCTION TO TRADITIONAL AND PERIOD HAIRSTYLING you will learn hairstyling skills needed for work in film or television. Studies cover traditional hairstyling techniques (blow drying, roller setting, pin curls and finger waves, and use of electrical equipment such as tongs and heated rollers) and creative hairstyling techniques (use of hair pieces and wigs and quick change hairstyles).

You will receive a college certificate of attendance. There is no formal assessment.
