'' Students who wish to work in a health or care setting or to progress to a Level 3 course and ultimately a health or social care related profession.
Entry Requirements:
You should have 3 or more GCSEs at D or above, or a Foundation GNVQ at merit grade or above, or an equivalent Level 1 qualification with high grades. Proof of a good command of English will be required (GCSE at grade D or above or a formal assessment). You will need to fill in an application form and attend an interview, which will give you the opportunity to ask detailed questions about the course. You will study 2 core units: communication and rights, and individual needs. You will also study 4 specialist units from a range of 8, which may include cultural diversity, human lifespan development, and health and social care services.
