How will I be assessed?
You will be expected to build a portfolio throughout the course. The three methods of internal assessment used throughout the training are review of documents, assessed observation and testimony. This ensures that all aspects of practitioner development are evidenced. These three assessment methods will be used to assess training programme assignments and tasks. Together they will provide the quantity and type of evidence required to satisfy the criteria. Assessments are designed to assess your understanding of the professional framework. Your tutor will review your work informally at regular intervals and will give you feedback on your progress. Formal assessment will consist of a course journal, which will enable you to carry your learning beyond the classroom and help you to develop your self-awareness in relation yourself and others, and a practical assessment consisting of role play and group discussion.
