Training Course:ArabicSchool/Trainer:West Thames College London, United Kingdom
Course Format: Classroom | E-learning | Virtual Class | Online | On-site | Blended | Self-paced
Course Description:
'' The lecturers employ modern teaching methods and materials. A minimum of 16 students is necessary to run the course. This course is for those who already have some skill in Arabic (typically one year previous study). We may ask you to do a quick assessment at the beginning to make sure you have enough Arabic to cope with the course. The course builds on existing language work, developing your skills in reading and writing as well as speaking and listening. The materials used will increase your understanding of the country and culture.
Additional Opportunities There is the possibility of trips and visits relevant to your study.
How will I be assessed? Assessment is by means of exams in June.
Where next? If you pass 4 GCSEs at Grade C or above, you may go on to the A Level programme at West Thames College and, if you wish, continue studying Arabic at A Level. GCSE qualifications are also useful for entry to many other courses at college in a variety of vocational areas, and they can directly improve your employment prospects.
