Course Description:

'' You will be in a class of about 20 students. You will complete an initial travel geography study pack and work through a series of exercises with the guidance and support of your tutor, whose experience in the travel industry will help you to understand how and why things work in air fares and ticketing. You will also have a session on how to write an effective CV and interview techniques. You will study aspects of fare construction, itinerary design, automated and e-ticketing. By the end of the course you will have a better understanding of how the airline industry works. You should also be able to create the cheapest and most effective ticket for your client using first, business and economy class fares.

How will I be assessed?
You will take an open book exam in lesson time and will be awarded your qualification if you pass.

If you do not yet have a CRS qualification, you may wish to take our Galileo computerised reservation course, which leads to the Galileo First Class Diploma and carries 10 IATA points. Attractive opportunities for employment in the travel and tourism industry are available for those holding these qualifications.
