'' Yoga has a unique and integral approach to psychology. Students learn how this psychology can be applied in practice, and how it forms the basis for teaching and therapy.
Traditionally, students of yoga would seek a guru (personal teacher and guide) in order to learn the full potential of a yogic practice. This course offers the student an understanding of this ancient system and how it can be translated into modern life in a meaningful way.
The four paths of Bhakti, Karma, Raja and Jnana yoga form the practical application of yoga as suited to the temperament and tendency of the practitioner. Students gain an understaqnding of the way in which bhakti (devotion), Jnani (wisdom) karma (service) and raja (the meditative path) can be applied to the practice of yoga, and the effects of each of these in daily life.
Ayurveda massage for yoga practitioners is a unique amalgam of touch therapy and healing oils. Learn how to apply a variety of herbal oils to different parts of the body as well as some of the specific types of treatment that have been used in Ayurveda throughout the centuries
