Training Course:ADVANCED CONCEPTS FOR PROCESS HAZARD ANALYSISSchool/Trainer:American Society of Mechanical Engineers CHICAGO, HOUSTON, SAN DIEGO, UNITED STATES
Course Format: Classroom | E-learning | Virtual Class | Online | On-site | Blended | Self-paced
Course Description:
'' This new advanced course expands the knowledge and application of Process Hazard Analyses beyond the basics presented in CH157. The attendees will develop a complete HAZOP study of a simple problem, including findings and recommendations that would lead to risk reduction action items. Then the team will analyze their study to evaluate their findings and recommendations, complete an exercise to use their HAZOP study to identify candidates for Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), and finally, create a presentation summarizing the results of their exercise. This course may be taken in conjunction with CH157 or separately. CH157 is not a prerequisite for this course.
