Lee N. Vanden Heuvel is the director of the System Reliability Institute and has over 17 years of experience in plant operations and analysis. He has performed hundreds of root cause analysis and has co-authored 2 books on the subject.
He was previously the project manager and lead analyst for a quantitative risk assessment program at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He worked for over 8 years at a nuclear power plant in operations, engineering support and training.


Presenters will lead students through sample problems and explore effective ways of gathering data for RCAs, how to determine which problems should be analyzed and how to design, develop, and implement an RCA program for your company.
