'' This course was designed with not only inter-organizational relationships in mind but also multiculturalism. The focus is on professionals whose work brings them into contact with members of the public, coworkers and international professionals, taking into consideration educational, cultural and economic backgrounds. This course teaches how to minimize and resolve conflicts with co-workers, partners and business counterparts by providing simple, effective tools and techniques for handling conflict and improving interpersonal relationships.
In addition, realizing that business professionals work with a multitude of diverse people, the instructor is aware of the fact that such professional’s work may expose them to situations that may become volatile and confrontational, resulting in violence and abuse, especially during team building or critical meetings. By the same token, the ability to defuse arguments and dissensions at the workplace is also a much sought skill for today’s multi-cultural workplace environments. Thus, this course also will cover such topics and techniques for difusing aggressive and dangerous situations.
