'' In this course you will cover the primary concepts of the AS/400; including its history, capabilities and how the AS/400 is designed, along with the benefits of those design features. This course also explains how to use AS/400 displays, obtain help from the AS/400, and submit commands. After completing this course, you will be able to describe the history of the AS/400, identify the applications and general architecture of the AS/400, sign on and sign off the AS/400 system, and complete simple data entry. You will also be able to identify and use basic functions of AS/400 displays, send and receive messages, use the Help Facilities to obtain online help, use basic Control Language (CL) commands, use command prompting and the Command Entry Display to execute commands, and find AS/400 commands you wish to use.
