Course Description:

'' Many project teams today find themselves following an ad-hoc development methodology or they have methodology that is documented but not used in practice. Common symptoms of these organizations are poor requirements, frequently missed deadlines, and unhappy customers. Scrum is a development methodology that is lightweight and easy to implement that has a different approach to these classic issues.

Organizations that implement Scrum are interested in:

Predictability in planning and delivery of work product with empirical data to backup decisions.

Delivering the highest business value to customers as quickly as possible.

Continuous evaluation and improvement of product and process quality.
The course is a mix of an interactive lecture and team exercises. Throughout the course the instructors will relay their experience implementing Scrum in small teams all the way to 75+ person teams. This course is based on the success of teaching the class in a corporate environment. This class has been taught to over 300+ students at Intel Corporation during 2007.
