Course Description:
'' CVOICE is designed to give the student a strong orientation toward Ciscos voice products, after acquiring the basics of voice telephony from the Voice Essentials and the VoIP Essentials classes. This class covers Voice over IP, Voice over Frame Relay and Voice over ATM. The course also covers the installation and configuration of hardware voice cards in Cisco routers.

The primary audience for this course is individuals responsible for the installation and configuration of voice and data network devices. Additional responsibilities might include: adding voice and data services/applications to the network, determining required router configurations, performing traffice analysis and improving voice and data traffice flow through the network.

Upon completion of the CVOICE course, the student will be able to:
Configure Voice over Frame Relay, ATM, or IP using the latest release of Cisco IOSO software Analyze existing voice hardware/software, and select which Cisco multiservice access device, including CIPT (formerly CCN/Selsius) end-user equipment, would best serve the needs. Given the fundamentals of Voice over IP standards, protocols, and hardware, design and configure a VoIP network using Ciscos version of VoIP including CIPT (formerly CCN/Selsius) equipment. Design, configure, integrate, and optimize an enterprise network in remote branch and regional offices by using integrated access technology that combines voice and data transmission over Frame Relay, ATM, and IP connections, using Cisco Systems access devices, and CIPT client hardware (formerly CCN/Selsius). Given the fundamentals of PBXs, apply the principles and concepts to develop a process for integrating Cisco equipment with PBXs and for replacing PBXs.
