'' In the rapidly evolving world of Storage Area Networking, technologies like IP Storage that were insignificant two years ago and vitally important today, this course provides students with a sound foundation in Storage Networking Technologies.It will also prepare them to take the SNIA Storage Network Foundations Certification exam. The term foundation shouldn’t be confused with basics as this course teaches all the current aspects of storage area networking.The course covers general storage network concepts the areas of interoperability for storage networking as well as, SCSI, fibre channel, IP storage, network attached storage, virtualization, data management, continuity management and storage management (including SMI-S).

Audience: This course is designed for those who need a thorough understanding of current Storage Technologies. This course is appropriate for individuals employed or seeking a position as a storage manager/ administrator. This course is also appropriate for network administrators who wish to learn about storage area networking.
