'' All projects incur a certain level of risk. The key to project success is how well project teams predict potential risks and define a Risk Management Plan complete with mitigation strategies. Team that fail to plan for risk within their projects are setting a path for failure.

This course is intended to introduce attendees to the concepts of risk management. Included are methods and tools for assessing the potential impact of risk activities and for developing Risk Mitigation Strategies.

On Completion, Attendees will be able to

Define potential risk activities and events
Assess the impact of risk on their projects
Assign risk to project resources, budgets, schedules, quality
Understand the level of risk imposed by corporate strategies and objectives
Prioritize risk events
Define risk mitigation strategies
Create a Risk Management Plan

Risk Management is beneficial to project managers of all skills levels. Those new to project management will take away key concepts to managing risks within their project environment. Experienced project managers will enhance their skills and add more tools to their risk management platform.

Prerequisites
