This course concentrates on the concepts of the UNIX operating system with Solaris 2.5.x. You will learn to use the facilities of Solaris shells and commands to create powerful data processing applications. You will also build Solaris applications using the shell command interpreter and Solaris commands. Hands-on exercises help reinforce the learning process.
