Training Course:Designing for Cisco Internetwork Solutions v1.2School/Trainer:Network Training Solutions Marlow, United Kingdom
Course Format: Classroom | E-learning | Virtual Class | Online | On-site | Blended | Self-paced
Course Description:
'' The Designing for Cisco Internetwork Solutions (DESGN) course enables learners to gather customer internetworking requirements, identify solutions, and design the network infrastructure and elements to ensure the basic functionality of the proposed solutions. The purpose of this course is to provide learners with the knowledge and skills to achieve associate-level competency in network design. The DESGN course is the first design course in a design curriculum that supports the design certification track. The course focuses on the technology and methods available today.
Objectives After finishing this module, the student will be able to: Describe the principles of network design for building a network design solution Describe how the Enterprise Composite Network Model simplifies the complexity of modern networks Design the enterprise campus in a hierarchical modular fashion Design the enterprise WAN network Design a network addressing plan Select optimal routing protocols for the network Evaluate security solutions for the network Assess the design implications of voice transport across the network Recognize the network management criteria for the network Importance The DESGN course is of utmost importance for all individuals seeking the fundamental network design knowledge. Target Audience The primary audience for this course are individuals seeking the Cisco CCDA or CCDP certification. All network and sales engineers who are involved in network design, planning, and implementation will benefit from the course as well. Prerequisite Knowledge Knowledge gained from the Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices (ICND) course or Cisco CCNA certification Practical experience with deploying and operating networks based on Cisco network devices and Cisco IOS software
Learners who hold a Cisco CCNP certification or who have an equivalent level of knowledge and experience will have the advantage of being able to participate more actively in classroom discussions.
