'' This is the first in a series of three courses at the intermediate level. This courses paves the way for students to learn Arabic for professional reasons. The objective of this intermediate level course is to expose learners to authentic texts, news broadcasts and other media. It is based on newspaper articles covering ten general topics: Society, Health Care, Family problems, Housing Problems, Economic Problems, Human Issues, Health, Women, Diseases in Modern Societies, and Arabic Songs. At the end of the level, students should be able to communicate and engage in meaningful discussions with native speakers over the range of topics they studied.
