This module compare the various wireless techniques and standards, such as FDMA, TDMA and CDMA and explains the history and unique qualities that established CDMA as the leading global standard for wireless communications. This module provides an overview of IS-95/CDMA2000 1x-based CDMA technology. The fundamentals of CDMA, its key characteristics, comparison with other wireless technologies are explained.. This module describes the coding techniques, codes such as Walsh Codes and PN Codes. This module discusses the overview of call processing also explores various types of handoffs and power control.
