Training Course:A+ & MCP 6 WEEK FULL TIME PROGRAMMESchool/Trainer:Learning IT Stirling,Glasgow,Inverness, United Kingdom
Course Format: Classroom | E-learning | Virtual Class | Online | On-site | Blended | Self-paced
Course Description:
'' Learning IT, Scotland¡¯s leading IT training company, is offering a 6-week Programme aimed at people who wish to move into a career in IT or develop their career as an IT professional. Learning IT¡¯s accreditations include being an accredited CompTIA A+ Training Provider and a Microsoft Certified Technical Education Centre (CTEC). The Programme will lead to formal certification recognised world-wide and covers topics required to achieve the A+ Certification and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) status.
A+ has now become the industry standard qualification for PC Support Engineers and provides delegates with the necessary skill set required to progress to MCP. Skills in network management, particularly in Microsoft Windows XP/2003, are in short supply. Good networks and hardware skills are marketable in the labour market and enhance peoples¡¯ employability. This high quality, high-level training programme is designed to equip people with those marketable skills.
Learning IT, in addition to our training services for the corporate training market, has been running 6 week programmes for several years for individual self funding delegates and for military resettlement. We are a preferred supplier to the Career Transition Partnership.
The Programme includes:-
6 weeks full time training comprising 15 days instructor-led training covering A+ and Microsoft (including the official Microsoft course 2272 Implementing and Supporting Microsoft Windows XP Professional) plus 15 days structured study time with access to instructors to prepare for the A+ exams and MCP exam. Comprehensive technical training manuals (including Microsoft Official Curriculum manuals for the Microsoft part of the Programme) Technicians tool kit 3 VUE testing vouchers for A+ exams and Microsoft exam (Exams taken at Learning IT) Comprehensive set of preparation examination questions
* Note although the programme is usually undertaken as a 6 week course, delegates can if they wish undertake only the A+ certification, or (subject to meeting pre¨Crequisites) undertake only the MCP part of the Programme. Distance learning options also available. Call us for details. A+ Certification
A+ Certification is a ¡°non-vendor specific¡± certification and comprises 2 exams to achieve certification. It also covers the prerequisites for the Microsoft XP Professional course. The Course enables delegates to describe components and concepts of PC Architecture, CPUs and Memory; Install or upgrade components and peripherals; Carry out various troubleshooting techniques on hardware and software; Demonstrate preventative maintenance of both printers and peripherals; Successfully interface with customers and observe safety precautions; Install and upgrade various operating systems (Windows 9x, NT4, 2000, XP).
