'' Noea’s Mandarin Chinese Courses
Noea Translation & Training Center offers high quality and affordable mandarin Chinese and cultural courses in order to establish and enhance cultural and business exchanges between China and the rest of the world. Its programs combine core Chinese language course , after-class tutoring and cultural activities to provide total mandarin Chinese learning environments in China.
The Chinese language programs include group programs，especially short terms, usually focusing on conversational skill training and private one-on-one lessons ,which are tailored to fit individual student needs. In Noea，modern ’communicative’ teaching techniques are used, with students learning the language through using it, and not just ’studying’ it passively. Because we believe that learning a language is a practical skill, which anyone is capable of, and which is best acquired by intensive practice and maximum exposure to the language. At the same time, the importance of grammar is not neglected, with frequent grammatical explanations being given in order to reinforce and deepen the students’ knowledge of and ability to use the language. Finally, of course, language learning must be fun and non-threatening if it is to be effective. People learn much better when they are enjoying themselves and so our teachers do all they can to ensure that the lessons are both serious and intensive but at the same time very enjoyable!
The components of our mandarin Chinese courses: 1) Core Mandarin Chinese courses, it has two types: A. Group courses: group size in Noea is in average 5 people and maximum 10. B. Private one on one course. It may starts any time and the contents and approaches may be specially designed to meet needs of individual student. 2) After-class tutoring. It provides students opportunities to work on individual language problem or questions in informal environment. Students can get additional assistance for their homework or practice particular language skills or certain part of lessons he or she has need to improve. Informal session give students more room to take initiative for their study.

Our professional staff and teachers are enthusiastic in helping students meet their individual goals.
2.Offer Excellent Training Quality: Noea Translation & Training Center provides high quality, comprehensive instruction in Chinese as a second language to non-native Chinese speakers. Over the last year we have successfully trained nearly a hundred students from over 20 countries. Many of our students return two or three times to continue their training. Former students also recommend our center to their friends as a great place to learn the Chinese language and culture.

3. Provide Professional and Qualified Teachers : We carefully select language instructors and maintain a regular on the job training system for the instructors to ensure high teaching standards. All of our instructors have postgraduate degrees in either Chinese or in education and they all have years of experience in teaching Chinese as a second language.

4. Use Current Training Methods: Our Center places strong emphasis on practical skills. About 70 percent of the class time is concentrated on speaking and listening comprehension, role-playing, group activities and vocabulary games. In order to enhance our students’ conversational skills in real life environments, our center often schedules more than one instructor for group or private classes.
What we provide for our learners
1. Provide an information package for each student upon arrival. The package includes an information guide to our center and to daily life in Shenzhen and the nearby area such as restaurants, bus stops and post office. The package also contains a list of the most common Chinese food menu items printed in English and Chinese. There is also a Shenzhen City map in English and Chinese with bus and subway routes.
2. Provide student business cards. We give students two business cards. The first card is personalized and has the address of Noea Translation & Taining Center in Chinese and English with contact information so students can network with other people and make new friends in Shenzhen. The second card contains the Chinese address to their accommodation site to be used to give directions to taxi drivers.
3. Assist with financial matters. We help students set up bank accounts, exchange currency, buy or rent cell phones, and rent bicycles. Our center also sells IP Long Distance Calling Cards at discount prices so students can call home.
4. Assist with travel arrangements. We work with travel agents to book airline and train tickets to many locations within China. In addition, we provide student guide in sightseeing, entertainment and food choices within Shenzhen.
5. Assist with communications. The Center receives and sends faxes free of charge for students within a reasonable limit. Students may also use the Center address to receive and send mail.
6. Provide visa assistance. We help students renew their Chinese visas when they wish to extend their stay in China.
7. Provide medical escorts. Should students require medical attention, we accompany them to be their translator and to assist them as needed.

Course Details
Our classroom learning follows a well structured curriculum that meets the learner’s needs by increasing the level of vocabulary, from English to Chinese, from one level to the next. Even after the first course, you will be able to use all four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing Chinese.
Noea’s course curriculum offers three levels of Mandarin proficiency:

�Language advanced
Language Basic: This is an introduction to Mandarin. Learners are able to satisfy immediate, predictable needs and basic everyday transactional needs, using predominantly simple sentences in Chinese.

�Introduce yourself in social or business settings
�Express basic opinions, likes and dislikes
�Asking and telling time
�Book tickets and hotel rooms
�Ask for directions
�Write simple, short notes in Chinese
�Recognize up to 150 Chinese words
2 Language intermediate: Based on Language Basic, learners learn more sophisticated means of expression and description. Learners are able to satisfy basic social needs, and routine needs, negotiate for personal and social needs, read simples passages in Chinese characters. After completing this level, learners will be able to perform effectively in most informal and formal situations pertinent to social and community life and everyday commerce and recreation.
