'' UWIN Pros Sun Certified Administrator for Solaris 10 Exam II course provides students with the skills necessary to administer Sun systems running Solaris 10 in a network environment. Learners will gain the knowledge necessary to maintain Sun systems, configure and troubleshoot the Network File System (NFS), ZFS file systems, Zones and configure the Network Information Service (NIS) environment.
This course prepares students for the Sun Certified Administrator for Solaris 10 certification exam SA-202-S10.
Prior to enrolling in Sun Certified Administrator for Solaris 10 Exam II, learners should have experience in installing the Solaris Operating Environment on a stand-alone system including update patches, understanding and performing booting and shutdown procedures and options, logging into a UNIX system and changing passwords, adding users, and setting up file permissions, making directories, setting up partitions, and managing files, and using the Solaris device naming conventions to configure and name devices.
Learners should have successfully completed Sun Certified Administrator for Solaris 10 Exam I prior to enrolling in Sun Certified Administrator for Solaris 10 Exam II.
