'' This course is for students to use their knowledge of graphical design in conjunction with the basic features of CorelDRAW® to create engaging and dynamic drawings.
Basic knowledge of computers and applications. Good knowledge of Windows preferably XP.
Components of the CorelDRAW environment, open and close a drawing, and find information using help. Set up a drawing page, draw shapes, lines, and arrows, add and format text, use the artistic media sprayer tool, and save a drawing. import a file, ungroup and modify objects, and add graphic images. Add fills to objects, modify outlines, add and clone drop shadows, rotate an object, fit text to a path, group objects, and add a background. Format text with bullets, modify paragraph spacing, wrap text around graphic objects, spell check text in a drawing, and preview and print a drawing.

CorelDRAW® 12: Level 2 (Windows) is designed for students who are already familiar with the CorelDRAW® 12 application package on an introductory level and want to move up to the next level. Students will use their knowledge of the basic features of CorelDRAW, in conjunction with new, more advanced techniques, to create even more engaging and dynamic drawings.
To ensure your success, we recommend you should have knowledge of Windows XP: Introduction and CorelDRAW® 12: Level 1

This course is designed for students who are familiar with CorelDRAW® 12 and would like to use more advanced features to create professional documents. Students will use advanced drawing tools and advanced text features to create a professional, multi-page brochure.
To ensure your success, we recommend you should have knowledge of Windows XP: Introduction, CorelDRAW® 12: Level 1 and CorelDRAW® 12: Level 2
Use the components of the master page to set up a new drawing environment. Create a technical drawing using the Bezier Tool, the Dimension Tool, the Callout Tool, the Spiral Tool, and the Graph Paper Tool, among others. Work with paragraph text frames, as well as create columns of text, bulleted lists, and use the Envelope and PowerClip features. import, crop, and convert bitmap images. Publish a document to PDF format and use the Prepare For Service Bureau Wizard to gather files for a professional printing service.
