Course Description:
'' Individuals wishing to become an Apple Certified Portable Technician (ACPT) must complete one hardware and one software exam at a minimum.
The hardware exam allows an individual to focus on Apple portable computers.
• Apple Portable Service Exam (9L0-204)
The Mac OS requirement is to ensure that technicians have the knowledge to quickly and efficiently differentiate between software and hardware issues. The software exas is specific to the Mac Operating System (Mac OS).
• Mac OS Troubleshooting Essentials Exam (included within the Amsys 7-day ACDT course)
Currently Amsys are offering ACPT as a 2 day add on to the 7 day ACDT course. New Engineers wishing to become both ACDT and ACPT certified can first take the 7 day ACDT course followed by the 2 day ACPT course. Existing ACDTs can just attend the 2 day ACPT add on.
